Currently based in Manitoba, Canada, David Carty is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design with a degree in Fine Arts with majors in Art Education and Illustration. Currently David teaches Art at the Forum Art Centre in Winnipeg, paints murals, and works as a Scenic Artist in theatre and Film.
Dave's art is inspired by the beautifully diverse nature, history, and people of Canada. His fascination with history and culture makes itself clear in his murals, and his paintings communicate a strong connection with and respect for raw nature.
